A Court of Thorns and Roses: Book 1

Updated: Apr 29

Feyre was the only reason that her family was still alive after her mother had passed away. Her father had never recovered from her death and her sisters refused to work or help out. Feyre was forced to learn to hunt so that her family would be able to eat and buy whatever else they needed. It was not luxurious or easy, but Feyre knew it was all she could do. Today she went into the woods and killed a wolf, one who happened to actually be a faerie. That death changed her life.

When I first read this book, Tamlin seemed so mysterious and enticing. He was scary, but never hurt Feyre. He seemed like the perfect fit for her. And he is in this book. They were just right for each other. He is protective and strong. He is ready to fight to keep her away from danger and wants her to be able to live without any fear of getting dragged into whatever else is brewing behind the scenes.

If you enjoyed this book, the next book in the series is A Court of Mist and Fury. Other books like this one are: The Selection by Kiera Cass, Divergent by Veronica Roth, and Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.
