Dear Pope Francis

Children have many questions for Pope Francis. The questions are from children all around the world and from a variety of different ages. These questions range from surface level to much deeper and more thought provoking questions. The children also have a variety of different religious backgrounds.

The book is building understanding through exploring common questions that a child might ask about Catholicism. It provides knowledge about the Pope’s everyday life and makes him more of a person. The questions are from children all around the world. Some of the children are Catholic, but many are not. The book shows their questions in their original language as well as a translation off to the side. I really like this idea and would love to incorporate it into a unit of study about different religions around the world. This book is so sweet.
