Seven Devils: Book 1

Eris was once in line to be the next ruler of the galaxy, but she faked her death and joined the Novantaen rebellion. Her next mission is to infiltrate a spaceship with dangerous explosives and gain important intelligence for the rebellion. The first issue that Eris runs into, being paired with Clo, a talented mechanic with a grudge against Eris. Will these two manage to get through the mission and save the empire from impending doom?

Seven Devils is one of my most favorite books. I found it on a shelf and, with reading no reviews on it, picked it up. It took me a bit to finish, but the story was outstanding. I love that there is so much diversity in the ages, skill sets, genders, and relationships. Each character is purposeful and brings something that no other has. The back stories are well set up and the pacing is fantastic.

If you enjoyed this book, the sequel is Seven Mercies. Other books you may like are: Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard because of the similar commentary on society and Red Rising by Pierce Brown because the characters go through similar trials.
