Seven Mercies: Book 2

Updated: Aug 22

On the run from not one but two massive empires can make one a bit tired. Add to that a bounty large enough to let anyone live out the rest of their days in luxury, the Novantae rebellion was on its last legs. With their group scattered or captured, Ariadne receives a foreboding message from One, the AI. One has found a way to turn One’s citizens into mindless followers all on One’s own and is coming to take Ariadne back at any cost. Will the devils make it through this one?

As soon as I saw that this book was out, I got it on my kindle. It took me forever to get through, but it was such a good read. This book took all the best parts of the story that came before it and only made it better. The pacing was on point, the character’s were well developed, and the story arc was just right. I am going to have to see what other books these authors have made because of how much I loved this duology.

If you enjoyed this book, other books like it are: Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard because of the similar commentary on society and Red Rising by Pierce Brown because the characters go through similar trials.
